Gross Revenue for the Second hundred was up in 2012 by an average of 3.2 percent, compared to 2.7 percent in 2011. The increase is just shy of The Am Law 100′s 3.4 percent growth. Seventy-one firms showed an increase in gross revenue in 2012, compared to 66 in 2011.
Twelve Second Hundred firms posted double-digit increases in gross revenue. Ice Miller and Holland & Hart had the largest gains, posting increases of 32.5 and 22.1 percent, respectively. For the second consecutive year, no firms had double-digit decreases in gross revenue. Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto had the largest decrease, 8.8 percent.
